Bowl cuts to blowouts.
No matter how genetically gifted you are, or how much money you spend on your haircut, your ability to style your own flow is everything. Timothée Chalamet, Internet hearthrob, will prove this to you. Because no man has had more epic before and after mane moments in 2018 than the in-demand actor. Chalamet’s hair is naturally thick and wavy, and he has access to the best hair stylists around, and even with all of that working in his favor—whether his mane makes him look handsome or insanely handsome—all comes down to his products and styling game. (This is true for you, owner of a not-Chalamet mane as well).
February 22: Long Hair, We Definitely Care
We don’t blame Chalamet for letting it all hang out outside of Jimmy Kimmel on February 22, 2018. Dude was the tail end of a year-long press tour for CMBYN. But he was wise to clean up his grooming act before filming the show itself. Chalamet’s extra-long front layers look a lot better, less Wayne’s World, when they’re parted on the side and swept backwards.
September 07: From Flowbee Bowl Cut to Bro Flow
After taking some time off to be a normal 22-year-old, Chalamet resurfaced earlier this month to promote his latest project, Beautiful Boy, during the Toronto Film Festival. He started the day with an eyebrow-raising old-timey bowl cut that broke hearts. Smartly, the actor finished the day with his hair swept back, parted on the side, and convinced us all to recognize him as our leading man savior once more.
September 24: Hot-Tool Happy
Earlier this week we saw Chalamet transform again, only in reverse this time. The actor’s hair looked Call Me by Your Name-era good for a daytime photocall in Spain with lots of natural texture and just a little bit of shine. That night, he showed up with hair that was suspiciously curly and much shinier. We liked it better before. So while, yes, good hair is made in the bathroom, don’t stay in their fussing with it for too long either. Get in and get out.
If you’re a literal person and want to know exactly what Timothée Chalamet uses in his hair, we have some answers for you. If you merely enjoy seeing good-looking people with bad haircuts, allow us to remind you about the time Robert Pattinson debuted “just got out of the hospital” hair.
