UNLESS you’ve got frizz-prone hair a la Monica from Friends, it’s hard to understand the meticulous work and endless pricey products necessary for achieving smooth, shiny locks.
But our frizz-related woes could soon be over – thanks to this new, innovative towel that’s been branded “magic” by beauty fans.
The Aquis Hair Towel has notched up thousands of five star reviews on selling sites like Amazon, with some fans claiming it reduces your hair’s drying time by 50 per cent.
Others claim it’s made their hair less frizzy and smoother, and some admit they can’t live without theirs.
According to the product description, the towel is suitable for all hair types, including curly, fine and damaged hair, and provides a gentle treatment to minimise frizz and damage to the fibers when wrapped around wet locks.
It also has a handy elastic edge of the towel, stopping it slipping off your head if you’re busy about the house while your hair is drying.

Writing on Look Fantastic, one reviewer said: “This is really good product. I didn’t realise what a difference it can make from using the normal towel.
“Hair dries much quicker and if you are trying to use less heat on your hair this is worth it. I really recommend it.”
Another wrote on Amazon: “I was initially sceptical but it really is amazing. I have proper long thick hair. I wrap it for 10-15 mins in the towel and my hair is damp but not dripping.
“My hair dries so much faster. It’s a life saver! Can’t recommend it highly enough!”
“I have long thick hair and this towel really helps cut down my drying time,” wrote another.
“I’m very happy with it and I even suggested this to friends. Highly suggest for people who have thick hair. It takes me 20 minutes to blow dry completely otherwise.”
But not everyone speaks so highly of the towel. New York magazine culture writer Allison P. Davis claimed it made her hair look “insane”.
“The towel has a handy button fastener so it holds my hair securely out of the way, like it’s in a nice little cocoon,” she explained.
“I looked very glamorous swanning about my apartment in a hair towel that stayed perfectly in place. But the con: My natural hair looked insane after I took it out of its l’il cocoon.
“It did dry my hair faster — but maybe also dried it out. I would use this again for the convenience, but only if I was planning to wear my hair straight.”
