7. I use snap lock bags for portioning snacks

As she is a full-time carer to her disabled kids, now aged 10 and 11, and juggles her nursing degree, the meals will help her tremendously on days she won’t have any spare time to cook for her family.

Seven years ago, the mother-of-five was given the devastating news two of her children were diagnosed with a rare terminal genetic condition called Sanfilippo syndrome.

‘All this food is going to help on the days when I’m struggling with no sleep, doing placement, come home and just can’t be bothered cooking it will stop that running out for takeaway,’ Hamoney said.

‘In the long run saving us money and knowing we are eating better food.’

Following the cook, Ms Hudson was delighted to see all her family’s meal prepared.

‘It’s made me so excited to get back on track and know I can smash out these goals and get to that place where I will be 100 per cent, happy within myself,’ she said.
