A hairdresser has told how she predicted her miracle baby would be born with a full head of hair.
Jemma Bellingham, 27, from Plymouth, was told she wouldn’t be able to have any more children after her son was born.
But five years later, the hairdresser found out she was pregnant with a miracle baby and had a ‘feeling’ that her baby would be born with a full head of hair.
When Vienna arrived, her hair was so thick that she needed her first haircut within three months.
Hairdresser Jemma Bellingham from Plymouth, had a ‘feeling’ when she was pregnant that her baby would have a thick head of hair (pictured with her miracle baby Vienna)
Jemma also suffered from horrendous heartburn later in her pregnancy, which is said to be a sign that your baby has a lot of hair.
The hairdresser, from Plymouth, Devon, said: ‘She is so adorable and her hair is on another planet.
‘She had absolutely loads of hair when she was born.’
She went on to reveal: ‘Every single nurse was shocked and said they had never seen so much hair on a newborn.’
Even the nurses in the delivery room were stunned by how much hair baby Vienna had, with many saying they’d never seen so much on a newborn
Jemma was stunned when she found out she was pregnant having been told she couldn’t have any more children.
She and her partner Michael, 31, were told after they had their son Rio, now-seven, that they wouldn’t get pregnant again.
But baby Vienna was a happy surprise, after the couple conceived the baby while relaxing on holiday in Fiji.
The hairdresser revealed: ‘We went five years thinking we weren’t going to have any more so she was really unexpected.’
Hairdresser Jemma predicted that her baby would have thick luscious locks – but said she didn’t realise it would be ‘so thick’
The mother-of-two also said that she could picture an image of what her daughter would look like.
She revealed: ‘I had a little idea – I had an image in my head of what she was going to look like so thought that maybe she would have lots of hair.’
The hairdresser went on to suffer from awful heartburn, which is said to be a sign that your baby will be born with lots of hair.
She said: ‘I thought that she was going to have lots of hair when we found out we were going to have her – it just came to me one day, I just had a feeling but I wasn’t even having any heartburn at that point.’
People often mistake baby Vienna for a doll because of her hair, which Jemma believes she got from her partner Michael
‘But I didn’t think it was going to be so thick.’
And when she gave birth to the baby on 9 January, the nurses told her that they’d never seen a newborn with such thick hair.
Jemma said that people often mistake Vienna for a doll because of her hair, and that her son Rio is also amazed by his baby sister.
She added: ‘My son also has lots of hair – he has been amazing with her. It’s her dad that she has got it from because he has all the dark features.
‘No one believed it when we went on holiday to the Maldives and Abu Dhabi recently.’
She also revealed that baby Vienna attracted attention while they were out and about, saying: ‘Everyone was looking at her – everyone in the queue thought she was a little doll or something.
‘She was a little dream on the flight – she is so good.’
