Olga Arsovska, 33, is a research coordinator and was ready for a fresh look for her upcoming birthday.
Olga has very thick and long hair. She’s a new mom and is tired of her long shapeless and unmanageable locks.
I started by shampooing her hair with KMS Moist Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, as her ends were feeling very dry and unruly. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting in order to create a symmetrical shape and to give her the option to be able to part it multiple ways. I eliminated several inches from the length in the front, creating face framing layers, while maintaining some length in the back. I incorporated long layers through the back and removed a lot of internal weight, creating a light and easy to manage shape.
Before styling, I applied a KMS Moist Repair Revival Crème to the ends of her hair, as a leave-in conditioner. I added an egg size amount of KMS Add Volume Styling Foam for long lasting style and hold. I blow dried her hair using a large round brush to create a soft and bouncy finish. I used a curing iron to create her soft curls and finished with KMS ThermaShape 2-in-1 Spray for heat protection, lightweight hold and shine.
I started by evening out Olga’s complexion with a powder foundation, then contoured her face with bronzer. I lightly dusted the apples of her cheeks with coral-pink blush, then highlighted her cheek bones with a skin illuminating powder. I contoured her eyes with soft brown eyeshadow, then lined her eyelid with black eyeliner to create a cat eye. I curled her lashes and coated them with black mascara, then finished her look with a frosted pink lip gloss.
