Kristen Stewart Chopped Off Her Hair and Bleached It Blonde Again

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Kristen Stewart with blonde hair. Ever since she debuted a platinum buzzcut in March 2017, she’s been growing it out, going brunette with some honey-colored highlights. It had even gotten long enough for her stylist to give her a surprisingly sophisticated rattail at the Cannes Film Festival. But it looks like she might have missed the combination of bleach and a breeze on her neck because the actor is back to a short, bright blonde style.

Stewart walked the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival red carpet for the premiere of her new film Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy on Saturday, where she also premiered a new look: short hair with side-parted bangs that are a bit longer than the hair at the back of her head. The nearly platinum color was only on top, though — her roots and the hair from her ears to the nape of her neck are dark brown.

The balance of longer-in-the-front and shorter-in-the-back is a style switch-up Stewart, who spent a good part of the last year wearing a modern mullet, with the top and front shorter than the hair in the back. And clearly, she looks effortless cool with both proportions.

It’s also worth noting that Stewart’s makeup look amazing, as usual. She wore super-thick black eyeliner that looked almost as if it covered her entire lid in when her eyes were open. Her lower waterline was accented with eye-enlarging white liner, and her bottom lashes were enhanced with individual clusters of false lashes.

Combined with the hair, the makeup helped create something of a grunge Twiggy look — and I am 100-percent here for it.
