'Kids in the Kitchen' classes teach children basics of healthy food choices

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

The Junior League of Odessa and the West Texas Food Bank are hosting a series of classes to teach elementary children the basics of healthy food choices and meal preparation.

Classes run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday in October starting on October 2. Classes will be held at the West Texas Food Bank location in Odessa.

Participants in the classes will be eligible to win door prizes and giveaways.

Classes are free but require registration for participating children. Adult registration is not required.
