Kate Middleton’s favorite food includes spicy and Japanese dishes.
The Duchess of Cambridge has a list of her favorite meals too. Chloe Best, a journalist for Hello! compiled the top dishes that Middleton loves. She described the royal’s diet as “healthy but adventurous.”

Middleton is a big fan of lambs. In fact, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge served their wedding guests in 2011. In 2016, Middleton also sampled a lamb dish while attending the Taste of British Columbia Food Festival in 2016.
High Protein Diet
Middleton is also rumored to follow a high-protein diet – Dukan Diet. It includes cutting carbs and focusing on lean proteins and vegetables including meat, fish, eggs and fat-free or love-fat dairy products.
Although Middleton cuts carbs, she loves bread. In fact, according to Chan Shingadia and husband, Shash, the duchess’ staples include “French bread, ham, salami, cream and eggs.”
In a recent event, Prince William confessed that he and Middleton love sushi. “Thank you very much. My wife and I love sushi. We might have to come down here for lunch,” Prince William said at a Japanese cultural center opening in London.
Middleton doesn’t shy away when it comes to spicy dishes. In fact, while Prince William struggles with hotter dishes, she’s enjoying it. Middleton’s pregnancy cravings when she was pregnant with Prince George included curry.
When Prince William and Middleton visited India in 2016, the couple enjoyed meat-free meals. According to Taj Mahal Palace chef, Raghu Deora, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were serviced vegetarian food.
“It is all vegetarian because I was told that was what they preferred,” Deora said.
Just like Meghan Markle, Middleton also loves wine. In fact, the duchess was seen sipping a glass of wine during a vineyard tour in New Zealand. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also sampled different varieties including pinot gris and a Riesling. Markle is also a huge fan of this drink. In fact, she named her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig after her favorite red wine.
In related news, Middleton had easily shed the extra pounds she packed on during her pregnancies. According to her, this is due to her physical activities that include running after her children.
“I am running after my kids,” Middleton told Professor Bulbul Dhar-James during their visit to India. The two were talking about a lot of things including Middleton’s strategy to weight loss that’s why the duchess shared her secret to getting back into her post-baby weight.
