Sisu Eats set out with a bold, lofty goal: to provide healthy food in a fast food style, complete with a drive-up window.

It opened in the former Mighty Taco location at 2570 Ridgeway Ave. in Greece in September 2018. Less than a year later, has announced that its last day of operation will be Saturday, July 13.

The restaurant bills itself as “your local farm-to-drive-thru experience.” The menu — which generally gets high marks for its food — is entirely gluten-free and features fresh, local, and organic ingredients.

“We want to extend a big thank you to the individuals and businesses who have shown us so much love and support,” the restaurant posted on Facebook. “It has been our pleasure serving you this past year.

“We stand by our concept of providing local, high-quality food at a reasonable cost, and utilizing environmentally friendly practices. We hope this is not the last you’ve heard of us — so stay tuned!”

Its full menu will be available for the rest of the week.
