A new brunch spot, offering smoothies, sandwiches and salads has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 26 Cedar St. in the Financial District, the new addition is called Green Healthy Food Cafe.

Try the Champ Camp smoothie with banana, peanut butter and milk, or the Home Sweet Home juice with carrot, parsley, cucumber, spinach and celery. For food, enjoy an egg white, spinach and cheese omelette, an herb chicken and walnut salad with avocado and cranberry or the Mr. Turkey sandwich with smoked turkey, brie, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard. With a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yan F., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 20, wrote, “I’ve had several Mealpal lunches from this place. I have also had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The serving sizes are generous and the food is very good.”
