Brown sugar is one of the core ingredients in the beauty industry. It is not only a natural exfoliator but also boosts the health of the scalp, leaving it smooth and clean. It also boosts blood circulation.
The body is continuously replacing the dead skin cells with new ones. But sometimes, even skin needs a little nudge to do its job. Exfoliation helps in speeding up the process and helps in getting rid of dead cells faster. Similarly, the scalp too needs to be exfoliated from time to time to get rid of the excessive oil, dead skin and dandruff. Hair experts also believe that the key to happy and healthy hair, is regular exfoliation of the scalp.
Some of the natural exfoliates can be made at home with an ingredient that will leave you surprised – sugar!
