A mum-of-three was taken aback when her fourth child was born with thick wavy locks.
The tiny girl’s hair is so long she had her first haircut by age three and often gets mistaken for a doll.
Katie Canham, 32, of Bromley, South London, said her daughter Dolly was born with a full head of hair, much to everyone’s surprise.
Katie, who is also mum to Archie, 10, Ellie, 7 and Reggie, 18 months, said none of them had so much hair at birth- and she has to brush Dolly’s hair daily.
She also says people always stop her in the street to comment on Dolly’s hair – many even mistaking the little one for a doll.

She said: “The first time I saw her I couldn’t believe it, even the midwife couldn’t believe it, she said ‘oh my God I’ve never seen a baby with that amount of hair.’
“The first time I bathed her hair it was amazing; I couldn’t believe how long it was.
“She had her fringe cut at three months old because it was getting in her eyes.
“I can actually put it up in a ponytail, I can put clips and everything to keep it out of her face.
“People usually say she looks like a doll and when I tell them her name is Dolly, they say ‘that is the perfect name’.
“Some people ask if I got lots of heartburn when I was pregnant which is true- all I could feel towards the end of my pregnancy was heartburn.
“I had the gas-man come to my house the other day and she was asleep on the sofa and you could just see the back of her hair and he actually asked me if she was a real baby.
“He said ‘that hair is incredible’.
“Everywhere I go, everyone says ‘Oh my God that baby’s hair’.
“I don’t blow-dry it but I have to brush it every day.”
